81DNiA7-R1L._SL1500_Every good girl loves a very bad boy…

Scarlett Ashford needs a date for her father’s wedding. Only she doesn’t just need a guy in a suit—she needs a bodyguard. The only problem is that Jackson Grayson is big and gorgeous and way too sexy. So much so that Scarlett’s tempted to let this hot bad boy ruin her oh-so-good reputation…

Jackson doesn’t do relationships and he certainly doesn’t sleep with clients. Yet he can’t fight their inconvenient attraction, or how badly he wants Scarlett’s warm and wicked curves against his body. He wants her. Now. Even if it’s just for one night, and even if walking away the next morning isn’t as easy as he thought.

Besides, one hot and incredibly intense night between a bad boy and a pampered princess could never turn into something real…could it?

First Impression: Well-written with interesting characters and a storyline I want to read more about.

Hold Me Until Midnight by Chrissy Phillips is the first book in the author’s new Grayson Brother’s series and right from the start, readers get the sense that things between the two leads, Scarlett and Jackson, are anything but simple. Because wealthy socialite Scarlett needs bad boy Jackson to be her fake-date, real-bodyguard for her father’s upcoming wedding and though she’s hired him to do a job, the sparks and differences between them leave no doubt that things will get complicated. Deliciously so.

Jackson Grayson has a rule about sleeping with clients, and yet, where Scarlett Ashford is concerned, Jackson wants nothing more than to break the rules. She tempts him past his comfort zones, but he tempts her just as much, which makes this Brazen book a fun, sexy, and thoroughly enjoyable read. It’s also pretty darn hot.

The storyline in Hold Me Until Midnight is no doubt a familiar one to any avid romance readers, but the characters of Jackson and Scarlett have enough personality and emotional depth to them to make the story feel fresh, honest, and real. So, if you like fake/pretend relationships, hero as protector, and good girl/bad girl stories, this is a book you’ll want to check out. For more reasons than one.
