No more safe choices. No more watching life pass her by. No more regrets.

It’s Lanie Jameson’s new mantra, or it would be if she had the guts to pull it off. Lanie’s harbored a secret crush on bad boy Rex Harper for longer than she can remember. And there’s no time like the present, right?

When Rex sees Lanie again he knows nothing’s changed—he still wants her in his bed. Lanie’s got the same idea—to fulfill a fantasy long overdue—except Rex doesn’t want the fantasy to end. He wants it to be real. For good. He just has to convince Lanie to give him a chance beyond her point-blank proposition.

mythoughts

Point Blank by Kaily Hart is a short, hot reunion romance. The heroine, Laine, attends her ten year high school reunion with the sole purpose of hooking up with one-time bad boy, Rex, the one guy she wanted and never forgot.

Well-written, fast-paced, Point Blank holds a retain intensity to its scenes, and some great sexual tension, sparks, and passion between its lead characters. A short as the story was, the author did a fantastic job developing not only the characters, but also incorporating the emotion they feel for each other when they’re together.

Final Thoughts: Point Blank is a good romance with hot sex and a great emotional connection between the characters. Definitely worth a read.

Kaily Hart, a seemingly straight-laced mother of four left corporate America and a high-powered, lucrative career to be a stay at home mom. Ha! That lasted about four weeks, during which time she realized she had a deeply repressed dream – to write. Romance! By day, Kaily plays conservative wife and soccer mom, but at night crafts hot and steamy tales of romance and love with gorgeous heroes who wouldn’t dream of leaving the toilet set up. Ever. She’s smart and sassy, at least in her own mind, and is trying her best to bring the alpha male solidly back to contemporary romance. Two years ago she never would have thought she’d be doing this, but now that she is? It just feels so right.
